Description
The house is equipped with a 300 sqm garden and an oval above-ground swimming pool (4,90 m x 3,60 m, 1,20m depth) to guests’ exclusive use. The property is completely fenced off by net (in some spots by net and wall, height 1.30m). Only small and medium-sized dogs are allowed.
Attractions
Il Volo del Nibbio is the perfect base to visit the Natural Park of Migliarino – San Rossore, the lake of Massaciuccoli and to go to the seaside to Marina di Vecchiano (c.ca 15 km away), a natural oasis of savage beauty, with a dense pine tree forest, dunes and Mediterranean scrub.
In spring and autumn, the eco-tourism of the park offers Nordic walking tracks, bike tours or birdwatching walks from the mouth of the Serchio to the lake of Massaciuccoli.
Places of art such as Pietrasanta, Lucca (about 16 km away), Pisa (about 8 km) and Florence can be easily reached by car and visited in a one-day trip.
Several paths lead from the house to suggestive walks towards the ancient hermitage that is part of the castle of Vecchiano (of which only part of the walls remain), the remains of the fortress of Avane, or the village of Filettole with its characteristic Torre dell’Aquila.
In the surroundings, parish churches, castle ruins, towers, historical villas as well as the many nature destinations will make your holiday rich in discoveries.
Music lovers will be able to attend the famous Puccini festival held every year in July and August.
The house is located on the edge of the village of Vecchiano and guests will be able to reach shops, grocery shops and restaurants on foot.

Il Volo del Nibbio is very comfortable and has been furnished in modern style.
Parking within the property, the entrance is shared with the house located on the back yard.

Wir waren Ende Juli, anfangs August 2025 in der Unterkunft und wurden sehr freundlich empfangen.
Die Gastgeber standen uns jederzeit mit Tipps und Unterstützung zur Seite. Die Unterkunft ist modern, neu und entspricht genau den Bildern. Sie ist vollständig ausgestattet und bietet alles, was man für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt braucht. Die Lage ist ideal, um Pisa, Lucca und sogar Florenz bequem zu erreichen. Dadurch eignet sie sich perfekt als Ausgangspunkt für vielfältige Ausflüge. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und kommen bei Gelegenheit sehr gerne wieder.

Siamo stati ospiti di questa struttura, nella settimana di Pasqua, ambiente molto familiare e confortevole, avvolto nella natura e nella tranquillità, con uno splendido giardino con alberi meravigliosi. La casa ha tutto ciò che serve, prima volta che provo induzione in cucina e ci siamo trovati bene. L'area esterna molto piacevole con barbecue e zona pranzo sotto gli alberi. La struttura credo sia completamente nuova, ben tenuta. Posto auto che sembra cosa da poco, ma che per noi è stato determinante.
Persone molto gentili e cordiali ci hanno accolto e consigliato sia per la spesa, che per ristoranti/pizzeria, ma anche per itinerari.
A pochi km dal mare della Versilia.
