Movies
The three-movie place of Lucca are located within the historical centre: Astra, Centrale and Moderno; they are opened from September to June. During the summer months films are projected in the outdoors, in the park of Villa Bottini, a villa which dates back to the 15th century.

Theatre
The theatre del Giglio lies in the middle of the “piazza” del Giglio; it has a capacity for 750 spectators. The program is composed of operas, ballets, prose and plays.
