Casa Irene is located within the natural park of the Apuan Alps, 350 above sea level, ideal departure spot for strolls or mountain bike tours. The house disposes of big fenced garden, equipped with a gazebo with a table, chairs, deckchairs, barbeque and wood burning oven as also a swimming pool, half set in earth, 5,30 x 2,80m, depth: 1,20 m) at the exclusive use of the guests.

Celle di Puccini, where the museum of Giacomo Puccini is located at, the theatre of Vetriano (the smallest in the world), the devil’s bride in Borgo a Mozzano, La Grotta del Vento (cavern), the chestnuts museum in Colognora, the “Molino di Menicone” in S. Martino in Freddana.

We had a wonderful vacation and a lovely stay at Casa Irene. It's a charming, traditional Italian holiday home with plenty of character. We especially enjoyed the pool and the beautiful garden.
The beds are a little old, but we still slept well and found them comfortable enough.
However, we had a great experience and really enjoyed our stay.

Großes Grundstück sehr gepflegt, die Hunde haben sich wohlgefühlt. Das rustikale Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet, Etwas abgelegen für Ruhesuchende ideal. Restaurants etc. sind ca. 10 - 15 Autominuten zu erreichen. Insgesamt gesehen ein schöner, erholsamer Urlaub.

It was a really perfect stay at Casa Irene, the house is really nice in Italian style, a very big garden, totally closed by fence, what was excellent for our dog.
It is a very good place to relax, to go for trekking tours or to visit the interessting cities like Firenze, Pisa or especially the lovely Lucca. Also a trip to the Cinque Terre is a good day trip.
We were there with 5 people and a dog, really enough place for all of us and it was relaxing to enjoy after a trekking tour in the big garden and the pool.
Also the service und assistance of Roberto from Casa Irene was perfect.
All in all a really great and perfect stay at Casa Irene.
