Description
Two wonderful stone cottages, which are located on the hills above Pescia. Both houses dispose of a private garden, a gorgeous veranda for your dining al fresco and a stunning views onto the valley of Montecataini Terme.
The beautiful swimming pool (set in earth – 8x4m, depth: 1.50m) is at the disposal of both properties!Guests are surrounded by untouched nature; they have breath-taking views onto the nearby hills, woods and lawns. The houses are located on an ideal spot to have a stroll or do a tour by mountain bike. There is a good restaurant and grocery in the hamlet of Malocchio, only 1 km from Le Case di Carla.
Both holiday homes are part of a big property (about 2 hectares) – each house disposes of its own private garden and veranda, equipped with a table, chairs and traditional brick barbeque. The whole property is completely fenced (wire mesh about 1.50m high). The beautiful swimming pool lies 50m from the house Mela and about 90m from the house Zizzola. The swimming pool is the exclusive use of the guests and is equipped with sun-umbrellas, deckchairs, tables, chairs and two changing lockers.
Ideal choice for families with children and for guests travelling with pets (property completely fenced – dogs are welcome and for free).
Parking within the grounds, close to the two properties. Guests may pick some fruits and vegetables in the garden; the owners sell olive oil, vin santo, grappa and limoncello – all produced on the spot.
There is a big stone cottage within the grounds (about 30m from the house Mela away) – the owners live from time to time in this house. The last 500m leading to the property are not asphalted, not convenient for sporty cars.

Entrance on the ground floor: living-cum-dining, 1 double bed settee, SAT-TV, dvd player, kitchenette with stove with 2 electric hotplates, fridge/freezer, small electric oven, dishwasher, 1 bathroom with shower, wc, bidet and basin.
Stairs to the 1st floor: 1 spacious double bedroom with a séparée – behind there 1 single bed. The house disposes of a nice veranda, equipped with a table, chairs, barbecue and outdoor kitchen with sink and two burners; there is also a balcony for your breakfast.
Tasteful country style furnishings with beamed ceilings, partially visible stonewalls, terra cotta tiled floors and wooden tiled floors in the bedrooms, big windows.

Die Kommunikation und die Abwicklung über Abitare war einwandfrei, es gibt nichts zu beanstanden. Die Unterkunft selbst kannten wir schon von vorherigen Urlauben. Man fährt vom Tal ein paar Kilometer auf einer gut ausgebauten aber kurvenreichen Strecke bergauf, bis dann eine kleine Piste von der Strasse wieder hinab zum Haus führt. Einmal angekommen, eröffnet sich auf einem sehr großen und gepflegten Grundstück mit Obst- und Olivenbäumen eine Oase der Ruhe sowie ein wunderschöner Talblick. Das Haus selbst ist ein alter Heuschober, wecher als Ferienhaus ausgebaut wurde. Es ist nicht alles neuwertig, aber sehr sauber und geschmacklich sowie stylistisch im toskanischem Stil gehalten. Die Gastgeberin Sylvia ist ausgesprochen nett und hilfreich. Wenn man Erholung sucht und nicht jeden Tag etwas unternehmen möchte, ist dies der perfekte Ort.
