Description
The house was restored with great care and disposes of a wonderful veranda (of about 60 sqm) which is equipped with an iron table, chairs, couches and upholstered chairs made of wicker and barbeque.
There is a garden of about 500 sqm at the exclusive use of the guests, which is set in terraces. There is also a children’s playground and a swimming pool, half set in earth (diameter: 7.47m, depth: 1.33m) with deckchairs, chairs and sun-umbrellas. The washing machine is located in an external room, parking next to the house. Internet access is included.
Air conditioned only in the attic floor.
Chiatri used to be the summer residency of the famous opera writer Giacomo Puccini and is therefore well known. The hills in the surroundings, which divide the city of Lucca from the sea, invite to have relaxing strolls.
Interior Description
1st floor: spacious living room with couch, upholstered chairs, big fire-place, SAT-TV, 1 twin bedroom. Stairs to the 2nd floor: 1 spacious bathroom with shower, basin, wc, bidet, 1 twin bedroom and 1 double bedroom. Steep wooden staircase to the attic with 1 double bedroom. From almost all windows you may enjoy breathtaking views onto the lake of Massaciuccoli and the coast of the Versilia.
The house is tastefully furnished, in country style with some antique pieces of furniture; much attention was paid to accessories, beamed ceilings, terracotta tiled floors, the walls are painted in pastel colors.
In all seasons, the house can be rented for 6 people at a special price by closing the attic (meaning that 1 double bedroom won’t be available).
Pool opened from beginning of May until end of September, for the exact dates please contact us.
Check-in takes place between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. You can arrive at 4 p.m. at the earliest, leave your luggage and spend time in the garden/swimming pool – there is a changing room and toilet there.

Ein wunderschöner Ort. Das Haus ist sauber und gut eingerichtet. Vermieter sehr freundlich und immer hilfsbereit über WA erreichbar. Der Pool mit herrlicher Aussicht war fantastisch.

Das Haus ist sehr schön in den Apuanischen Alpen mit Blick auf das Meer gelegen. Die große Terrasse ist überdacht und deshalb immer zu benutzen. Die Küche hat eine große Kücheninsel und ist gut ausgestattet. Die Einrichtung des Hauses ist verspielt und hat einen eigenen Charme. Der Pool ist groß, unsere Kinder hatten sehr viel Spaß. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Franco war immer äußerst hilfsbereit.

In dem Haus haben mit unseren Kindern (6 Personen) unseren Sommerurlaub verbracht.
Das Haus war sehr sauber, hat eine sehr gut eingerichtete Küche, bequeme Betten und gepflegte Außenanalagen und Pool. Die Aussicht über Berge und Meer ist einfach fantastisch. Es war dort sehr ruhig, mit netten Nachbarn. Der Vermieter ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. bei Fragen war er immer erreichbar.
Es gibt in der Nähe zwei Restaurants, die zu empfehlen und gut zu Fuß erreichbar sind (600m und 1200m).
Wir haben unseren Urlaub dort sehr genossen und würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.
Abbiamo trascorso le nostre vacanze estive nella casa con i nostri figli (6 persone).
La casa era molto pulita, aveva una cucina molto ben attrezzata, letti comodi e strutture esterne e piscina ben tenute. La vista sulle montagne e sul mare è semplicemente fantastica. Era molto tranquilla e i vicini erano gentili. Il padrone di casa è molto cordiale e disponibile ed era sempre a disposizione per qualsiasi domanda.
Nelle vicinanze ci sono due ristoranti consigliati e raggiungibili a piedi (600m e 1200m).
Ci siamo davvero goduti la nostra vacanza e torneremo sicuramente.

Great place with lots of character. Stayed for a week with family and two small kids. Great outdoor area, amazing views and nice sea breeze. The owner is very responsive and helpful during our stay. Located 25 min by car from Lucca and from the beach Viareggio.

We had a wonderful week at this property. The location was perfect with amazing views from the terrace. The house was well equipped and Lovi Franco the owner was extremely helpful - he even replaced the washing machine within an hour when we discovered that it wasn't working! We had a lovely meal at the Da Mariana restaurant which was less than 10 minutes walk away. Trips to Lucca, Florence and Pisa were all amazing and we also enjoyed exploring Pietrasanta which was about half an hour away. Our only (very small) criticism was that the charge for the use of the air-conditioning in the attic room was quite high so we made do with a fan for most of the week. Overall, highly recommended and thank you to the team at Abitare!

We had a fantastic stay at the Borgo with an amazing view! The location is prime for exploring this side of Tuscany close to Lucca, Pisa and Viareggio. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking yourself but there's 2 restaurants in walking distance if you don't feel like cooking after a day at the pool.
