Excellent location for visiting the cities of Tuscany

Starting from the Dependance Egle, there are many full-day and half-day excursions you can organise.
The small historical centre of Lucca (approx. 5km away), is surrounded by its beautiful walls and has a special charm which you will hardly find elsewhere.
Lucca is a beautiful art city full of ancient buildings, churches, squares and fascinating views. Piazza San Michele, Piazza dell’Anfiteatro, the cathedral of San Martino, Torre Guinigi and Via Fillungo (the shopping lane of the city) are definitely worth a visit. Among its picturesque alleys you can discover workshops, quaint shops, typical trattorias and excellent restaurants where you can breathe in the aroma of good food and hear the romantic arias of Puccini.

The location of the house is also ideal for walking and trekking or mountain biking in the hills or along the Serchio river, which is a short distance away.

Starting from Lucca, you will be able to visit the most important Tuscan cities of art such as Florence (approx. 75 km), Pisa (approx. 35 km) and Siena (approx. 120 km), characteristic medieval villages immersed in the countryside such as Montecarlo, go to the seaside on the Versilia coast (approx. 25 km) or towards Livorno, Castiglioncello and the Cinque Terre, or follow the tour of the Ville Lucchesi that are located within a radius of 6 km from the city.

The house is composed of: on the ground floor, spacious living room with dining table, sofa, TV, fireplace, kitchenette with central island, stove, oven, small fridge with freezer cell, exit to the garden and to the veranda with table and chairs to dine outside, utility room with washing machine, 1 service bathroom with toilet and basin.
First floor: 1 bathroom with basin, toilet, bidet, bathtub/shower, 1 bedroom with French bed (1.40 m), 1 spacious double bedroom with exit to the balcony.
The house has been furnished with great care in rustic style. Parking within the property.
Guests will find restaurants, pharmacies, bars, shops and small grocery shops in the village of San Macario where they can buy fresh and genuine products, while a well-stocked shopping centre is only 2.5 km away from the property.
