“Chianti Dreams” is located in one of the most beautiful places in Tuscany, on the hills near Castellina in Chianti, with wonderful panoramic views onto the Pesa Valley, surrounded by oak forests and olive groves.
Chianti Dreams is a unique property dating back to the 12th century and consists of four units: a villa for 4 people (Chianti Dreams Aleatico), a villa for 5 people (Chianti Dreams Barbera), which can be connected, Chianti Dreams Sangiovese (6 people) and Chianti Dreams Cabernet (2 people) for a total of 17 beds. The massive stone walls naturally keep the heat out. All bedrooms have
shutters that darken the rooms and are equipped with mosquito nets.

The property extends over 20,000 m2 and has a beautiful natural swimming pool (approx. 17m x 6-8m, deepest point: 4m, salt water) and a private chapel. Chianti Dreams is in an absolutely private location, no neighbors can be disturbed, which is why the location is also very attractive for parties and weddings. There are some areas that can be covered or covered in case of rain. The property manager is well connected in the area and can be actively involved in holiday planning/party/wedding planning.

The story of Chianti Dreams
In the 1950s, a Swiss man looked after the property. He carefully renovated the walls, installed the access road, the electricity line and the water supply from his own source and expanded it to include the swimming pool.
The new owners (1974) have designed the property according to their ideas over the years and expanded the rooms. He offered to convert the old stables into inviting refuges for an ever-growing family.
This creates enough space for celebrations, weddings and birthday parties with family and friends. For families with children, 1 cot, 2 high chairs and two child car seats are available.

Activities - excursion destinations
Situated on a hilltop, Castellina is one of the most charming villages in Chianti. Nestled within its fortifications, Castellina still looks as it did in the 15th century. La Rocca, the mighty fortress, is now the town hall, which houses a small archaeological museum. There are tempting wine shops nearby. The city walls enclose a labyrinth of atmospheric little lanes through which you can sometimes catch a glimpse of the Chianti hills.

Even though Castellina itself is one of the main attractions on the Chiantigiana, the Chianti trail also takes you on excursions through the neighboring Chianti wine villages, as well as to San Gimignano, Siena and Florence. Castellina is a great base for a variety of activities such as cycling, museum visits, wine tasting and visits to ice cream parlors. Take a cooking class or visit a sculpture park. If you've had enough of wineries and want a romantic memory, consider a great balloon ride over Chianti. This is suitable for most people, from couples to families.
