"Uzzano Castello" is a small, lovely and characteristic village, which lies on the road called "svizzera pesciatina" and on the hills overlooking Pescia, in short distance to Lucca, Montecatini and Collodi. This restored "rustico" is just 2 km away from the village and is situated on a gently sloping hill. Away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life you may spend a relaxing holiday and enjoy outdoor life to the full by admiring the wonderful views. You may have a stroll in the greenery and to the characteristic village of Uzzano where in August many events are organized and where you may taste local specialities in the "trattorias" of this area. The owner has got horses and occasionally on request he will be happy to take guests for a ride on the wide fields of beautiful Tuscany (usually in the late afternoon). Possibility to take part in the farm team and the grape harvest organized in the property (4 hectares). The house disposes of a big garden with lawns with amazing views onto the surrounding hills and of a swimming pool out of the ground (size 7 x3m, depth 1,20), covered with wicker, with wooden platform, two air nozzles for hydro massage and inner light. Next to the swimming pool there is an external room with gym equipment (exercise bike and bench) to be used also as changing room. In the area near the swimming pool there is also an external shower.
Entrance on the front of the house: living room with dining table, couch, TV, 1 bathroom with shower, wc, bidet, within 3 steps entrance into another small living room with fire-place, typical Tuscan kitchen built in a rock with stove, oven, fridge, freezer, 1 double bedroom, 1st floor: 1 double bedroom, access to the other apartment: living room with 2 armchairs, 1 bathroom with tub/shower, wc, bidet, 1 double bedroom. Kitchen with antique stone oven (for bread and pizza), stove, oven, fridge, exit onto the garden (external staircase on the back of the house).
In front of the apartment there is an outdoor area with table, chairs and deck-chairs. Parking within the ground. The house is furnished in typical Tuscan country style – terracotta tiled floors, visible stones in the walls and some antique pieces of furniture.
An additional single bedroom is available upon request at the price of 75,00 € per week.
Next to the house there is a utility room where the owners keep the tools for the garden and pool maintenance.
